The casing for the butterfly dangle contains traces of brass and rhodium. Surgical Steel jewellery is best for healed piercings but as it contains traces of nickel it may not be suitable for those with a nickel allergies

• Did you know that dangle belly bars are manufactured to break under duress? The dangle is attached with a small metal ring which will separate and break if the dangle is caught on your clothing. This prevents damage to you and your piercing and can then be fixed by replacing the metal ring again
